A Reflection for the Week

Our spirit is the greatest source of energy,
It can be so strong, yet at times so brittle!
Some days it soars and some days it sinks ?
Sadness can weigh it down, joy can lift it up.
criticism erodes and praise builds us up !
failure can shrink the spirit,
success can cause it to grow and grow.
Hope breathes new life into it
while despair can cause it to wilt.
Rejection is like a wound,
Acceptance can bring healing.
Hatred spreads poison,
While,
Love can bring purity and prayer leads to strength !
