A Reflection for the Week

Christmas is the light of the world .
This light was not lit once in Bethlehem
And then extinguished.
It continues to shine.
For all who believe in him
It is a defiant light
It is a persistent light
Darkness can not overpower it.
Lord,
May the radiance of your Glory light up our lives,
And bring us safely through the shadows of this world
To our home
Of everlasting light.
Amen.
