A Reflection for the Week

Jeremiah had a difficult time as God’s prophet.

There were times when he felt like packing it in.

But he kept going because there was a fire burning in his heart.

It was this “inner fire”  that enabled him  to remain faithful to the task God had given him.

Lord, kindle in our hearts

The fire of your love,

So that we may follow you faithfully on earth

And come to share your Glory in heaven.
